Work or exercise in your life?

Weight loss goals and life goals tend to be thrown out the window when working in Fort Worth, Texas gets in the way. Scheduled time tends to be spent on employment or starting a new business. That's exactly what is going on right now. I tend to put my health on the back burner when I have other projects going on in my life.

That's why a schedule is so important. A person can not have a job, career, or business when they are not healthy. So shouldn't our weight loss goals and healthy living goals be our first priority. Yet they easily are forgotten.

Trust me, I know that it's not easy to plan out meals every day. It becomes more difficult when a person has to deal with a husband/wife and children in the household. That is a lot of schedules to juggle. It is doable though.

Make time for activity
It doesn't matter if a person works out first thing in the morning, in the middle of the day, or late at night. It's just important that the activity is done. Though I wouldn't recommend having your work outs be the last thing on your list. I don't get to bed on time when I'm hyped up from working out.

Sneak in activity
I'm sure that this weight loss tip has been given before. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park farthest away from the store. Walk up and down the isle even if you don't need something from that isle. Walk on your lunch break.

Prepare ahead of time
A lot of meal items can be prepared ahead of time. Vegetables can be cut and frozen to use in recipes. Meat loafs and marinade items can be done early. Lasagnas, raviolis, soups, and casserole dishes can all be frozen ahead of time.

The most important thing is that you take care of you. When this is done, then life is better in Fort Worth, Texas. You'll be able to enjoy the things that this city has to offer and you'll have the energy to do it.

Depressed about my weight loss and non healthy lifestyle

I'm depressed about my weight loss and non healthy lifestyle. I'm definitely being more active than I have been. I think it's due to my job. I spend a lot of my work time mopping floors, wiping down things, and scrubbing a whole lot of stuff. I'm just tired of the pain. I'm also tired of the confusion. I don't know what to eat anymore.

Exercise:
8 hours of standing, mopping floors, scrubbing toilets, and wiping down sinks.

Eating Healthy:

Breakfast:
Serving of cereal
Serving of milk
3 slices of bacon

Lunch:
3 ounces of pork
1/2 cup of rice
1 serving of cream of mushroom soup

Dinner:
3 ounces of pork
1/2 cup of rice
1 serving of cream of mushroom soup

I think the toughest time with my weight loss journey is not knowing what to eat. I have started to feel like everything that I put into my body is bad for me. I've become bored with cooking and food. There are times when I don't even want to take the time to eat. I wish that I could lose weight by just drinking liquids.

Feeling down about my weight loss

Today I'm feeling very fat in Fort Worth, Texas. I don't think I can see the light at the tunnel at the moment. I am no where near being Fit Fort Worth. Sometimes I don't know why I even try to eat healthy and get some exercise. It seems like a lot of hard work with very little pay out.

This is what my life looked like today:

Exercise: 2 miles of walking

Breakfast:
Coffee with cream and sugar
1/2 English muffin
1 egg poached
1/2 slice of cheese

Lunch:
2 slices of whole wheat bread
1 slice of cheese
1 slice of bologna

Dinner
1 cup of rice
1/2 cup of carrots
1/2 ounce of chicken
2 slices of whole wheat bread
1 slice of cheese
1 slice of bologna

I know that there is a benefit for living a healthy life and eating better foods. There are pictures of people who have lost a lot of weight. There are reports of longevity. There are reports of preventative medicine on how healthy foods and exercise effect the body.

"Success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration"

I'm just going to have to remember this fact about my weight loss journey.
